![]() ![]() It occurred about a week ago, one of my puppies grew critically ill. While I am unsure whether this was a glitch or just a mistake, it cost me a beloved pixelated friend. While I really enjoyed this game in the beginning, there was one incident that is just simply unacceptable for "a pet lovers game". Otherwise I could thank you enough for this game! You also need more crossbreeding available for more different mixes of dogs and other animals. Please add more stuff! Pet city needs an update! And when you upgrade their habitats and it is SOOO expensive. But I still love that you can interact with the animals. ![]() Why not bring them to the vet? Especially if you have to go through the process of buying the animal again and then getting its food and possibly a toy for it. ![]() PLEASE GET RID OF THE ADDS! I hate the adds! Also the fact that you let the animals die. I also really wish you could make things less expensive. I wish that some of the stuff that you could buy didn't cost SO MUCH gems! It has still been a pleasure having your game though. Otherwise, your game is amazing! I do love it a lot and play it all the time. Speaking of gems I think we should be able to get more gems easier and faster. I find that I have deleted this game and added it plenty of times because I have got all the animals that didn't cost gems. However, I really wish you guys will add some. If the regulator is worried about the deal it could seek divestitures, and if so, the ACCC is likely mulling over which stores would need to be sold.I REALLY, REALLY LOVE THIS GAME! I love ALL of the animals. It is highly unlikely the ACCC would look to unwind prior Petspiration transactions. While the methodology for both regulators is the same, they can and do arrive at different rulings. Woolworths already has the tick from the NZ competition regulator. Petspiration is the second-biggest player in the sector behind TPG Capital’s Greencross, which is a possible float or trade sale candidate later this year. Woolworths, the nation’s largest grocery retailer, also operates discount department store Big W, and has a 60 per cent interest in PetCulture, an online specialty pet retail business with VetChat, a 24/7 online vet advice service. It separately has veterinary services at 63 hospitals. It has its own brand range and offers services such as dog grooming, day-care and puppy school. Petspiration trades under various retail banners including PETstock, Best Friends, My Pet Warehouse, Pet City and PETstock Country in Australia and New Zealand. A specialty pet company owner disagreed, expressing surprise if the Woolworths deal was found to lessen competition. “This will be a major problem, and likely result in some stores being divested.”Īnother suggested this was the first time that the competition regulator has looked at historical transactions in such a way. “But now that Woolworths is involved, the ACCC is looking at these historical transactions. “PETstock bought Best Friends and other retailers, but never got the ACCC approval for those deals as it was not warranted at that time,” said one source. There is no suggestion Woolworths will be unsuccessful in getting the deal over the line, but it might have to divest some stores to get there. The ACCC wrote to industry players asking them about the competition landscape for pet products and services. By mid-March, the regulator suspended its timeline on account of “waiting for more information from Petspiration”, and delaying the final call on Woolworths’ $586 million transaction. The ACCC kicked off a review of the deal on January 24, with submissions due February 14. Woolworths CEO Brad Banducci and his pet dog Juno. The ACCC and Woolworths declined to comment. Two pet industry sources said the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission is delving into prior deals done by the company, PETstock, which took place before Woolworths snapped up a 55 per cent stake last December. A suspended timeline for a final decision by the competition regulator on Woolworths’ acquisition of Petspiration Group has invited speculation that the supermarket giant may be running into trouble on its purchase, and forced to sell stores to win approval. ![]()
